Chile returns to the Copa Chile after the end of the Copa América

This Wednesday, a new edition of the Copa Chile begins, and for U it starts this Thursday against Curicó at the Estadio Nacional.

Martín Lasarte wants to field the best available team for this match, with a strong attack and some players who want to prove themselves.

In this regard, the absences are Johnny Herrera, José Rojas (both with ten days of rest due to their participation in the Copa América), the injured Gonzalo Espinoza, and the yet-to-be-signed Mathías Corujo (who is training at CDA but has not yet signed to continue).

Guzmán Pereira could also miss the game as he just returned from Uruguay yesterday, where he was completing paperwork. Nevertheless, his presence is being evaluated as he has responded well.
