David de Gea
David de Gea has already started the season with Manchester United. The goalkeeper, desired by Real Madrid, attended the team's first training session at Carrington Sports City before 9 am this morning, like the rest of his teammates. Shortly after, coach Louis Van Gaal entered, according to Daily Mail.
The United players underwent the necessary medical examinations after the summer break, and the first preseason training session was scheduled. The Dutch coach has planned a few days with double training sessions to prepare for the tour in the United States, starting on July 13.
De Gea has decided to show up to avoid conflict and wants to personally ask Van Gaal to let him go to Real Madrid, as this is the last opportunity for United to make a profit from the transfer. De Gea's contract expires next summer, and he would leave for free, but both he and the Madrid team want him to play in white this season.
The goalkeeper from Illescas arrived at Manchester airport last night at around 1:15 am. Yesterday morning in Madrid, he said he was going to join the work of his current team: "I'm going to Manchester for the preseason, I'm very calm," he said in an interview with Deportes Cuatro.
