Kenny Noyes, injured in Motorland

The Kawasaki Palmeto team, to which Kenny Noyes belongs, has stated that the American rider, injured this Sunday at Motorland in Alcañiz (Teruel), does not have "a blood clot" as reported yesterday, but rather "a minor hemorrhage".

"Despite the previous statement reporting a small blood clot, it is actually a minor hemorrhage, with the rest of the prognosis remaining the same," explains the team, who expresses gratitude "for the messages of affection received and to wish Kenny a speedy recovery".

Noyes is currently in an induced coma, in stable condition with a guarded prognosis after the accident. The reigning champion of the FIM CEV in Superbikes is hospitalized in Zaragoza after suffering a fall during the morning warm-up lap of a superbike race.

Kenny Noyes' motorcycle collided with the safety barriers at turn 8 of the MotorLand Aragon circuit and, after bouncing off them, struck the rider.

"As a result of the impact to the head, Noyes had to be taken to the MotorLand medical center, where doctors decided to induce him into a coma and transport him by helicopter to the Hospital de Zaragoza," the Kawasaki Palmeto team reported on Sunday.
