David de Gea continues on vacation in Madrid for now, but the United goalkeeper will return to Manchester to start pre-season with the 'Red Devils' squad. This has been confirmed by the player himself in statements to Deportes Cuatro when he was interviewed upon his arrival at his home.
"The Real Madrid? I have to return to Manchester for pre-season". That was all De Gea said, as he resisted responding, or did so evasively, to the rest of the questions asked about Real Madrid's interest in obtaining his services.
However, De Gea assured that he is "calm" regarding the soap opera he is starring in this summer. The goalkeeper, who will travel to England between today and tomorrow, will finally come face to face with Louis Van Gaal. The Dutch coach has not hidden his displeasure with all the information that is surrounding the first-choice goalkeeper of Old Trafford, and surely they will discuss his future in their reunion.
