"I am sad because I am leaving a very special club for me and my family

The Sevilla FC has made one of my dreams come true since I was a child, since I had the thought of being a professional footballer, and that was to play in Spain (...) It has made me grow as a footballer and be recognized internationally. It has given me the opportunity to live in one of the most beautiful cities that I have ever known. We will always be grateful, both me and my family, for these two years lived where we have been fortunate to enjoy on the field and win collective titles in individual ones."

To all my teammates in these two seasons, and to the coaching staff led by Mister Unai, who from the first moment supported me, gave me their love and helped me. Together we have enjoyed very good times and I have achieved successes that I had never imagined achieving. Thank you.

To all those who are in the club and are not publicly recognized because they do not appear in the photos and who are always there supporting and making things easier. They have been very important to me... equipment managers, medical staff, communication, marketing, office staff, those who take care of the training fields and the stadium. In short, to all those who make this club what it is, a great club.

Fourthly, to the press. I am not a person who likes to appear much in the media, but we have had a good relationship and they have always treated me with respect. Thank you.

And finally, to the fans, they have always supported me, I have felt their love in the good times and in the not so good ones, and I will carry that with me in my heart forever. Thank you very, very much."
