The 22-year-old Spanish-Nigerian football player, in a statement written by himself on the Instagram social network, wanted to thank Real Madrid for allowing him to "live the best moments of his life" during his years as a white player. According to the player himself, he leaves the Madrid club to "embark on a new adventure" with the goal of making the goodbye a "see you later".
Derik Osede joined the Real Madrid academy at the age of 8 in the "benjamin" category and since then has been moving up the ranks until he made his unofficial debut with the first team in the 2012 Trofeo Bernabéu. In the last season, he played for Castilla under the guidance of Zinedine Zidane, with whom he played a total of 22 matches and was the team's third captain.
