The whole world bid farewell to Mohamed Ali after his untimely death on June 3rd. The boxing legend passed away at the age of 74, causing shock around the world. His funeral was led by a hearse that carried his remains through crowded streets filled with people paying tribute to him. Some spectators held signs or flowers, while others chanted the name of the three-time heavyweight champion.

His condition was delicate. The former world champion had been hospitalized due to Parkinson's disease. The Los Angeles Times, citing an unidentified source, had reported that he would not be able to survive for a few more hours. Ali had been suffering from Parkinson's disease for 30 years and had been hospitalized twice in late 2014 and early 2015 for pneumonia and urinary tract infection.

He refused to go to Vietnam. The undisputed champion of the heavyweight division, the man nicknamed "The Greatest," shocked the United States in 1967 by refusing to serve in the military and go to the Vietnam War due to his religious beliefs.

The fight with Foreman. He was imprisoned, stripped of his title, and banned from boxing for three and a half years before reclaiming the world championship titles of the WBA and WBC by defeating George Foreman via knockout (eighth round) during the "Rumble in the Jungle" in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, formerly Zaire.
