After his withdrawal from UFC 198: Werdum vs Miocic due to a gall bladder illness, rumors started circulating that Anderson Silva would be interested in returning for UFC 200: Cormier vs Jones. Although the company has not officially mentioned that they are preparing his return for that event, unofficial sources indicate that it would be complicated.
The Brazilian fighter would have already received medical clearance to begin training. However, his boxing coach, Luiz Carlos Dorea, allegedly stated that it would be quite difficult for him to be ready to compete in the card of the great event that will take place on July 9th in Las Vegas.
