Sensations:
"It's been the same story as always, starting outside the top positions and chasing Jorge throughout the race. I lost time again at the beginning and then had to focus on slowly recovering the difference, but unfortunately, it wasn't enough. On one hand, I'm happy because I managed to keep up with Lorenzo until the last few laps, on the other hand, this is the fourth race, after three very difficult training sessions where we sometimes couldn't find a good setup, that we couldn't achieve a good starting position."
The problems: "We worked hard in the training sessions and in this race things went better, and since Saturday morning we were already competitive. However, with Jorge in these conditions, it's very difficult to compete with him starting from the third row. I lost a lot of time again, and when I reached second place, it was very difficult to recover the distance. I have to focus on improving the training sessions, staying among the top five, although it's not easy. Another problem is that in the timed sessions, there are a lot of bikes capable of setting a fast lap, but then they are slower in the race."
Leadership: "There have been two moments when I thought I could catch Jorge, and I started doing calculations, but it wasn't possible. For me, being with him would be more fun, also for the spectators. Jorge's bike and mine are the same, we evolved them together and we have to continue like this. Assen is a completely different race, with different conditions, a lot of grip, and completely different weather. After being in the lead of the championship since the first race, it's important to maintain it, but with only one point advantage, I have to finish ahead of Jorge to achieve it. Assen is a circuit that I really like, and in it, our bike works very well."
