SmackDown before Extreme Rules ends with a battle between The Club and The Bloodline
As expected, the last SmackDown before Extreme Rules ended with a big battle between The Club and The Bloodline prior to the showdown between Roman Reigns and AJ Styles for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on Sunday's event. However, when the broadcast ended, the brawl was far from over.
As the blue show closed, the commentary table was cleared but still intact, chairs were scattered in the ring, and while Reigns and Styles fought each other, Gallows & Anderson and The Usos did the same. This is what happened next:
Officials arrived to separate the two groups, in what seemed to be an anticlimactic ending to the battle. However, Karl Anderson managed to pull one of the twins to ringside and restart the fight.
The pairs continued fighting among the audience, followed by officials, and left their leaders in the ring, each with a chair in hand. Each one gave and received a good number of blows, but Styles failed to execute a Styles Clash like the one on Raw and ended up being sent out of the ring with a chair shot, while the champion remained victorious.
Now the faction war will continue with two matches at Extreme Rules, as in addition to the extreme rules match for the WWE world title, Gallows & Anderson will clash with The Usos in a tornado tag team match.
Who will come out victorious in this war? The Club or The Bloodline?
