It is the Puebla/Jalisco belt, inspired by the crafts of both Mexican states, featuring vibrant colors, earthy combinations, and traditions.

The object was handcrafted by artisans from the Talavera de la Reyna workshop, using talavera and embroidery, two of the most important traditional techniques from Puebla.

The belt highlights fiery red and orange tones as well as cool blues and greens, along with symbols from the mentioned localities. And only one of the boxers will keep it.

Canelo Álvarez will defend his super middleweight titles endorsed by the World Boxing Council (WBC), the World Boxing Organization (WBO), the World Boxing Association (WBA), and the International Boxing Federation (IBF) against 'Gorilla' Ryder.

The 'tapatío' has a record of 62 fights: 58 wins (39 by knockout) and two losses. John Ryder, two years older, has an experience of 37 fights with 32 victories (18 by knockout) and five defeats (one by knockout).

The fight will take place this Saturday amidst the celebrations for the 200th anniversary of the founding of the Mexican state of Jalisco.
