Joseph Blatter

Joseph Blatter, president of the FIFA since 1998 and who resigned on June 2, four days after being reelected for his fifth term as a result of a series of corruption events that hit the international football organization, has stated emphatically in the German magazine 'Bunte': "I am not corrupt. The one who accuses me must first prove it."

Blatter, however, has organized new elections for the presidency of FIFA, for the end of 2015 or the beginning of 2016. "I gladly accept constructive and correct criticism, but when we say that Blatter is corrupt because FIFA is corrupt, then I say no. The one who makes such comments without evidence should be sent to jail."
