Andre Berto wants Danny Garcia's belt
The highly anticipated rematch between Victor Ortiz and Andre Berto produced fireworks last Saturday. In the end, Berto was able to avenge his defeat against Ortiz by knocking him out in the fourth round at the StubHub Center in Los Angeles.
It was a solid victory for Berto, who was coming off a unanimous decision loss to Floyd Mayweather last September.
"It is the most satisfying victory of my career because I was able to avenge my first defeat against Ortiz. Once I knocked him down, I knew the fight was over. I am ready to fight for the WBC title, let Danny Garcia tell me when he is ready and I will be prepared." Berto commented at the end of the bout.
With this victory, Berto improved his record to 31 wins, 24 knockouts and 4 defeats.
