On Saturday, January 28th, the 2023 edition of the famous WWE event, Royal Rumble, took place. Once again, it featured both a men's and women's edition. Unlike previous editions, this time it started with what is usually the "main event", the men's Royal Rumble, which was won by Cody Rhodes, who made his return after a year. In the women's Royal Rumble, the dominant winner was Rhea Ripley, a wrestler who surprised everyone a couple of years ago by moving from NXT to the main roster. In other matches, Bray Wyatt defeated LA Knight, Bianca Belair defeated Alexa Bliss and retained the RAW Women's Championship, and Roman Reigns remains the universal champion after defeating Kevin Owens.
