For this event, and just like last year, elimination matches have been scheduled in the taped events for AAA Worldwide television, which will determine the wrestlers who will represent the leading wrestling company in Latin America in such an important event.
Thus, on April 29, at the Arena Xalapa (in Xalapa, Veracruz), the first two eliminations will take place to obtain representatives of AAA in the World Cup.
The first of these fights is remarkably attention-grabbing, as The Perros del Mal (Pentagón Jr., Daga, and Joe Líder) are programmed as opponents in a never-before-seen triangular where only one will leave the ring as the selected one.
On the other hand, in the second elimination, AAA Megachampion Texano Jr. will compete against the imposing winner of the Antonio Peña Cup, Taurus, and the young regiomontano Garza Jr.
From each of these fights, a winner will emerge, and with them, the team that will represent AAA in the important commitment called Lucha Libre Victoria World Cup will be integrated.
As if that weren't enough, at the event in Xalapa, four more matches will take place, including the awaited championship match for the AAA Tag Team Championship, where the team that qualified in León (Australian Suicide and Argenis) will compete for the title against the current champions, the fearsome Chessman and Averno.
