"I felt different power (in the 77 kgs.), I never lost the timing. I think once I hurt him, the fight changed. I managed to hurt him and almost finish him", said James Llontop about his victory over Zebroski, which earned him the FFC title.
James considered this to be the most important victory of his career. "On some occasions I felt less favored, but not this time. Since I joined the team, that doesn't happen anymore. It didn't go against me either", he said.
"NOW I AM THE PERUVIAN GOKU"
During this conversation, James Llontop revealed how he earned the nickname 'Goku' and who gave it to him. "Because of my consistency, because I train every day. The one who gave me that nickname was Jackson Mora and now I am thePeruvian Goku", he explained.
Regarding the possibility of joining a major company like the UFC, James stated that he continues working towards reaching that company. "I think we are closer now, but if another global promotion emerges, I wouldn't hesitate to sign with them", said James Llontop.
"I feel like I am one of the best in my category (77 kgs.) in Latin America, but you always have to keep growing, keep learning, and there are still some challenges ahead", affirmed Llontop.
JAMES LLONTOP'S VICTORIES ABROAD
