After stumbling in Milwaukee, the Cleveland Cavaliers (13-7, 5-6 home) got back to the business of winning, beating the Detroit Pistons for their fifth win in six games.
They’ll wrap up a 3-game road trip with a stop in Toronto, on the second night of a back-to-back.
The Raptors (10-9, 7-2 home) are fresh off snapping their own two-game skid, but there are still plenty of injury question marks up and down the roster heading into Monday night.
It all gets underway at 7:30pm ET from Scotiabank Arena, in a game that can be seen live on NBA League Pass.

Cleveland Betting Outlook
There are very few soft landing spots in the NBA, but Cleveland got one in Motown after a disappointing loss in Milwaukee, hanging around to eventually take a 102-94 decision.
Donovan Mitchell led the scoring attack with 32 points and five rebounds. Evan Mobley finished with 20 points and 13 rebounds, while Darius Garland chipped in with 19 points and 10 assists.
The Cavs were missing regulars Jarrett Allen (hip), Caris LeVert (ankle) and Kevin Love (thumb) against the Pistons. Their status against the Raptors is not yet known.

Cleveland’s scoring defense ranks fifth in the NBA, a big reason they’re currently a 3-seed in the East and it came up clutch in the fourth quarter. The Cavs held the Pistons to 16 points and outscored them by 13 to seal the win. It’s the third time in their last four wins that they’ve held a team under 100 points.
It was a far cry from a few nights earlier, when the Cavaliers watched a double-digit halftime lead disintegrate in a 117-102 blowout loss to the Bucks. In that game, Cleveland had a disastrous third quarter, where they were outscored 35-10.
Sunday’s win improved the Cavs’ road record to 5-6.
Toronto Betting Outlook
The Raptors aren’t anywhere near 100%, but they summoned up a stellar defensive effort against NBA scoring leader Luka Doncic in a 105-100 win.
Doncic was held to 24 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, as Toronto sent multiple defenders his way, limiting him to just 15 field goal attempts.
OG Anunoby spearheaded the effort, taking on the primary defensive duties while leading the team in scoring with 26 points, adding nine rebounds, two assists and two steals, while playing the entire second half.

OG is currently ranked fifth in the 2023 NBA Defensive Player of the Year odds. He’ll likely be the point person trying to contain Mitchell.
Fred VanVleet, who missed last game with a non-COVID illness, also had 26 points, six rebounds and five assists, while Chris Boucher added a season-high 22 points and 13 boards.
Toronto’s injured list remains an issue, though Scottie Barnes (knee), Pascal Siakam (adductor) and Dalano Banton (ankle) are all questionable, and could play. Already ruled out are Precious Achiuwa (ankle) and Otto Porter Jr (toe).

Cavaliers vs Raptors Prediction
This is the second of four meetings between these two, with Toronto taking the season opener for both clubs, 108-105.
Mitchell had 31 points and nine assists in his debut, while Siakam led TO with 23 points and 11 boards, with all Raptors’ starters potting at least 15 points.
The Raptors are 7-2 at home this season, and a respectable 6-3 against the spread. Their scoring defense at home holds opponents to 107.1 per contest.
Cleveland is 2-1 straight up and ATS when playing back-to-back nights, but with their shorthanded lineup against Detroit, their stars logged big minutes. Mitchell played 39 minutes, and Garland and Mobley each played 40.
In a tight matchup, that could very well be the difference maker.
