Sky Sports reports that Sergio Ramos has already informed Real Madrid that he wants to leave the club to join Manchester United. The British media outlet also reports that the Spanish club have received a €40m offer from the Premier League club for the defender.
That would constitute the first formal offer from the English club for the Andalusian centre-back, who would earn around €12m (net) for the first of the five seasons that he would sign for. After that his salary would decrease by €500,000 each year until he reaches a figure of €10m (net) in his final season.
Ramos’ current deal at Madrid ends in 2017 and his intention is to leave Real Madrid after president Florentino Pérez did not agree with his financial demands.
