The Uruguay national team has announced its official squad for the 2022 World Cup, where defender Diego Godin is among the selected players.
The 36-year-old player did not hide his joy at representing his country in another World Cup, and said: "What pride to represent my country in another World Cup!!! Diego Godin made his first appearance in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, then participated in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, and later in the 2018 World Cup in Russia, and now he will do so in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
