Real Madrid threatens Juventus' plans to renew Leonardo Bonucci
Juventus had practically secured the renewal of Leonardo Bonucci, but Real Madrid's interference could frustrate their intentions. What really worries the Italian team is the great interest that Rafa Benitez has in the international defender for Italy.
The Madrid coach would have chosen Bonucci as one of the possible successors to Sergio Ramos if he decides to move to the Premier League. 'Bonnie' has won the Italian league with Juve for the past four years and his contract ends in 2017. He currently earns around two million euros and the white team is willing to double his salary and offer 30 million euros to Juventus, as reported by Tuttosport.
Juventus has already met with the player's agent and would be willing to offer him three million euros until 2019, but the Italian board is concerned about the strength that Real Madrid might have on the Azzurri international.
