During the past few weeks, there was a rumor that another match for Roadblock, the next WWE Network special, would be Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus. The purpose of the match was for Reigns to show his colossal power against Sheamus and the rest of The League of Nations, who would surely intervene, a situation that we have already seen countless times during Monday Night Raw.
The same match was already announced for the day before Roadblock, at the Bell Centre house show in Montreal, as part of the Road to WrestleMania Tour. However, Reigns was removed from all events next weekend.
Apparently, he has not been cleared for his nose surgery, so as previously planned, his reappearance will be a couple of weeks before WrestleMania.
Although Roman Reigns' absence has served to avoid being booed and to prevent his ascent to WrestleMania from being weakened, it has not left the company exempt from uncomfortable situations, as we saw last Monday on Monday Night Raw, with the chants of CM Punk during Shane McMahon's promo, which were so strong that they had to mute the ambient sound for a while.
