About Vince McMahon and the executives of WWE - Triple H's contract ends before WrestleMania

Many readers of SÚPER LUCHAS have wondered why Triple H doesn't take power by teaming up with an investor who buys the majority of the shares. We have already explained that this is not possible, as McMahon is protected against a hostile takeover by retaining 51% of the total shares, which allows him to always maintain control of the company.

Hostile Takeover

A few days ago, WWE revealed a lot of this information and Chris Harrington, the luchistic data analyst, echoed it.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer bulletin, the percentages of shares held by the main shareholders of WWE are published:

"Vince McMahon is the main shareholder with 39,272,641 shares, or 51% of the company. Lindsell Train Limited of London owns 5,572,681 shares (7.3%) and is the second largest shareholder. Linda McMahon would be in third place with 4,306,036 (5.7%). Stephanie McMahon owns 1,904,210 shares (2.5%) and would be in eighth place, after The Vanguard Group (4.8%), Eminence Capital (4.5%), Morgan Stanley (3.5%), and BlackRock Inc. (2.7%). Levesque owns 53,366 shares.

"It is noteworthy that Shane McMahon no longer has a significant amount of shares, so he must have sold all or almost all of the shares he received along with Stephanie years ago. She sold a large number of shares to pay for the construction of her house."

Chris Harrington noted that Shane McMahon will receive a salary of $120,000 for his current services:

  • Michelle Wilson, the Chief Marketing Officer, earns $4,507,801 (including $3 million in dividend shares).
  • Kevin Dunn, Executive Producer, earns $4,758,170 (including $3 million in dividend shares).

Triple H's contract ends at the end of March and will obviously be extended. For his work as talent, he has a guaranteed salary of $1 million:
