Y2AJ vs The New Day for the WWE Tag Team Championship next week on Monday Night Raw!
After being fierce rivals and having a tense relationship in the past month, Chris Jericho and AJ Styles have become great partners, even managing to get two consecutive victories over The New Day, which has earned them an opportunity for the WWE Tag Team Championship.
The first of these victories took place on SmackDown, where they defeated the three champions along with Mark Henry. Then on today's edition of Monday Night Raw, February 29, they achieved another victory, this time in tag team action, which gave them the right to challenge The New Day, which was later confirmed on the show.
This Monday, March 7, The New Day will defend their title for the eighth time against the fastest rising team in WWE, which could change their situation heading into WrestleMania.
The group of Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods is heading towards a rivalry with The League of Nations, which is expected to lead to a trios match at WrestleMania 32. Meanwhile, the latest rumors suggest that AJ Styles will no longer face Kevin Owens for the Intercontinental Championship at the grand event, but will team up with Jericho, which could very well result in them winning the gold next week.
