Vince McMahon, president of the world's leading wrestling company WWE, has announced his definitive retirement a few days before turning 77. After 5 decades in the company and 40 years at the helm, the now former CEO used his social media to bid farewell to all his positions within the firm, including his role as the main creative for television programs.
Through his official Twitter account, McMahon put an end to his career as the head of WWE and one of the most important and recognizable figures in the world of professional wrestling. "At almost 77 years old, it is time for me to retire. Thank you, WWE Universe. Then, now, and forever, together," wrote the American professional wrestling promoter in his tweet.
