WrestleMania 32 is getting closer
WrestleMania 32 is getting closer and, like every year, among the most anticipated news are the names of the inductees to the WWE Hall of Fame. A few minutes ago, The Godfather was confirmed as the second name to receive such an honor this year.
The news was initially revealed by the Blacher Report and later confirmed by WWE through social media and its official website.
It's not easy being The Godfather. But after a long career, the very entertaining superstar will receive the greatest honor in sports entertainment. As first reported by the Bleacher Report, he is the latest inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2016.
Although recognition for this wrestler's career, whose real name is Charles Wright, is given for his most well-known era as The Godfather, which began with The Nation of Domination and has reached the present day with various special appearances, including one in the 2013 Royal Rumble, this wrestler has also personified other roles in WWE, mainly Papa Shango and Kama, under which he had a rivalry with The Undertaker that occupied a good part of 1995.
With his most successful character, which is sometimes also called The Goodfather, he obtained his only two titles in WWE, the Intercontinental Championship and the World Tag Team Championship, both on a single occasion.
The Godfather joins Sting as the only confirmed members of the 2016 WWE Hall of Fame Class, whose induction ceremony will be held, as is traditional, the night before WrestleMania 32.
What do you think? Does The Godfather deserve to enter the WWE Hall of Fame?
