Manolo García Quilón, representative of Miguel Ángel Moyá, confirmed on Saturday that Portuguese club Porto were interested in signing the Atlético Madrid shotstopper. “All I can say is that it’s true that Porto are interested,” he told Portuguese newspaper Récord de Portugal, without elaborating further on the potential move.
Moyá is currently on his honeymoon and, together with his family, is weighing up his future. In talks held with Atlético, Porto demonstrated their interest in the goalkeeper. The Portuguese newspaper also reported how Moyá had been contacted to find out whether he would consider a move to Portugal.
At Porto the Spaniard would be first-choice keeper, a guarantee he is unlikely to have at Atlético, particularly after Oblak's commanding perfromances towards the end of last season between the rojiblanco sticks.
