Titans vs Gods: Team Match Added to WWE Fastlane 2016
Before the SmackDown recordings, WWE has added a team match to the Fastlane card, where Ryback, Kane, and The Big Show will face The Wyatt Family in a battle of titans vs gods.
Although the name may sound pretentious, Bray Wyatt and his family have been hunting down the main giants of WWE in recent weeks, all based on the ancient Greek myth according to which the gods of Olympus, led by Zeus, overthrew the Titans, the main deities of that time.
Considering the main rumors and the events that took place in January, it is possible that this new campaign by the Wyatt family will lead them to a match against Brock Lesnar, undoubtedly the greatest titan of WWE, at WrestleMania 32.
With this, the Fastlane card currently looks as follows:
- Triple Threat Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania: Brock Lesnar (with Paul Heyman) vs. Roman Reigns vs. Dean Ambrose
- Intercontinental Championship: Kevin Owens (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler
- Divas Championship: Charlotte (c) (with Ric Flair) vs. Brie Bella (with Alicia Fox)
- Sasha Banks & Becky Lynch vs. Naomi & Tamina
- Kane, Ryback & The Big Show vs. The Wyatt Family (with Bray Wyatt)
- Kickoff – 2-out-of-3 Falls Match for the United States Championship: Kalisto (c) vs. Alberto Del Río
In addition, Edge & Christian will have a Cutting Edge Peep Show with The New Day as guests, and it is likely that the third encounter between AJ Styles and Chris Jericho will be added to the card tonight at the SmackDown recordings.
