Kevin Owens: The Beautiful Story Behind One of His Tattoos
Kevin Owens is one of the most successful villains currently in WWE. His arrogant and talkative personality complements a style clearly made to hurt his opponents in the ring, which makes him deserving of the audience's hatred. However, on his Twitter account, the former Intercontinental champion decided to share the personal story behind one of his tattoos.
Owens' most well-known tattoos are the cattle head on his right arm and the word "Live" on his left forearm. However, the Canadian has other marks, including the letters "MSPB" on the knuckles of his left hand. As the wrestler revealed, these four letters are a tribute to two of the most important people in his life:
"Every day, I get asked what the letters on my knuckles mean..."
M.S.P.B...
Over four years ago, on January 21, 2012, my grandfather Pierre Benoit passed away. He was the toughest man I've ever known. I lived with him for many years. He didn't speak much, yet the bond we shared and the impact he had on me will always remain.
Today, three years ago, on January 31, 2013, I lost my other grandfather, Melvin Steen. The memories of him taking me to WWE shows as a child, the look in his eyes, and the hug he gave me after watching my first match are things I will never forget.
Both passed away before I reached WWE, but they will always be with me...
It's no secret that Kevin Owens is a family man, who puts his wife and son first, which he has made known even from his role as a villain. That's why it's interesting to learn even more about the talented Canadian and the events that shaped him into the person he is today.
