Barcelona announces the dismissal of Joan Vinyals, coach of the second team

The Barcelona announced the dismissal of the coach of the second team, Joan Vinyals, after the relegation to the third category of Spanish football. "The club's Technical Committee has considered that a new stage must be opened in the subsidiary of the entity and a period of reflection must be initiated to structure the technical team for the next season", argued Barcelona in a statement.

Vinyals took over from Eusebio Sacristán halfway through last season, but he could not straighten the course of a team that ended up descending.
