It is still remembered when during the break between the first and second rounds of the fight in which Ronda Rousey fell to Holly Holm at UFC 193 last November, coach Edmond Tarverdyan told 'Rowdy' to go for the exchange of blows.
This was clearly a mistake and it seems to be one of the episodes that embarrass Tarverdyan the most, who assured that neither he nor Ronda have seen or will see the knockout video, as he does not believe it is necessary.
"It's not that I don't want to see it, it's just whether it's time to see it or not. I know how to talk to Ronda, I know Ronda very well."
Tarverdyan assured that even in a possible rematch against Holly Holm, he does not believe that Ronda needs to watch the video of her defeat, because it's already happened and in any case, it will be a new fight.
"She doesn't need to watch that fight. The fight is over. This is about what she is doing now. It is my job to see what needs to be done and I am fully committed to preparing Ronda's rematch with Holly."
