One surprise after another at WrestleMania 38
Pat McAfee defeated Austin Theory in their match, which caused Vince McMahon to enter the ring. 'Mr. McMahon' had his first fight in over a decade and came out victorious with the help of Theory.
Total madness on the second day of the WWE-produced event. McMahon dazzled in his match against McAffe, which was officiated by the referee on the spot.
The victory was simple - a three-count, as he received support from the previously defeated Austin Theory. However, after the match, Stone Cold decided to get in the ring to go after Theory and also hit Vince McMahon with a Stunner.
It is worth noting that McMahon returns after more than ten years of retirement. The last time he fought was at WrestleMania XXVI on March 28, 2010. On that occasion, Vince lost to Bret Hart.
Edge defeated AJ Styles
At AT&T Stadium in Texas, Edge and AJ Styles starred in one of the most exciting matches, and in the end, the former came out victorious to the delight of his fans.
Edge came out determined to overcome his rival as soon as the bell rang and encountered resistance. AJ Styles responded with accurate blows, including punishment against the metal steps. It was a tough and evenly contested match, and it could be said that either could have emerged as the winner.
At one point in the match, AJ Styles scored a two-count after applying a 'Springboard 450' to his opponent. Seconds later, Damian Priest appeared, distracting AJ, and Edge took advantage by intercepting AJ with a tremendous 'Spear', and this time, the count reached three.
