The Main Event of Wrestlemania 38
The main segment of the first night of Wrestlemania 38 ended with the victory of the legend Steve "Stone Cold" Austin against Kevin Owens, in what was his first solo competition in 19 years. It was a debt that "The Rattlesnake" had to settle in front of the audience of his home state, Texas, after being challenged by Owens just a month ago, hurt in his pride after the defeat suffered in the RAW Tag Team Championships.
Confident in his victory, Kevin Owens stormed the stage, defiant in front of a hostile audience, which he began to mock as soon as he could, as well as Stone Cold, whom he minimized as a role model for the fans and other superstars. He had not finished his speech when Steve Austin made his appearance in the ring and ended the show that "K.O" was putting on in the squared circle.

After several minutes of talking, Owens confessed to the Texan wrestler that he had only brought him to Arlington for a solo match. But it wouldn't be just any match, the fight wouldn't be limited to the ropes of the Wrestlemania ring. The Canadian wanted to take the matter much further and decided to challenge "The Rattlesnake" to a No Holds Barred Match (unrestricted match) at that very moment.
Austin did not back down from the challenge. "My first match was in Texas, and the last one will be too," he said. In a few seconds, a referee appeared in the ring and the match began. It was at that moment that the festival of "The Rattlesnake" began, which despite the years, dominated throughout the fight, with Owens having no chance of winning and being trapped almost all the time.

In his only good move, "K.O" attacked veteran Austin with a tripod, leaving him on the ground and for just a moment, he thought he had come out victorious from the AT&T Stadium. However, "Stone Cold" managed to get up and dragged Owens to the stands, giving him a beating in front of an audience that clamored for the local hero. Back in the ring, Kevin Owens surprised "The Rattlesnake" with a Stunner that left him on the ground. However, an accidental chair shot to his own face caused Owens to lose his brief dominance, and, confused, he was at the mercy of Austin, who with a devastating Stunner left the Canadian defeated on the canvas.
Thus, the victory of "Stone Cold" in this individual match was sealed, a type of competition that had been foreign to him for almost two decades, and to which, however, he managed to return triumphant, thus giving a final joy to the Texas audience, who had been supporting him throughout his extensive career.
