The Undertaker Inducted into WWE Hall of Fame
On the last Friday, April 1st, on the eve of WrestleMania Edition 38 weekend, American wrestler Mark William Calaway, better known as The Undertaker, was honored at the WWE Hall of Fame. The event, held at the American Airlines Center in the city of Dallas, Texas, had all the ingredients for a magical night, a fitting setting for what the enigmatic figure of 'The Deadman' means to fans around the world.
As expected, the sports colossus was at full capacity, with people from all over the United States coming to greet the wrestler in his iconic hat and black attire. "Thank you, Taker" read the hundreds of signs held by the attendees, who, upon the legend's arrival, gave him a standing ovation, cheering loudly and continuously. No one seemed to want to stay still.

Introduced by WWE chairman Vince McMahon himself, 'The Deadman', admired, could only look around and see the hundreds of faces chanting his name, as well as hear the incessant applause from those souls who have had the fortune of watching him fight and sharing both his victories and his falls.
"You deserve it! You deserve it!" shouted the entire stadium to their hero, in the longest ovation ever for an event like this. Flush with emotion, a few tears welled up in the 'Taker's green eyes, moved by the affection and fond memories of the audience, as well as the people who accompanied him throughout his long career.
"Tonight, I want to draw back the curtain and introduce you to the man behind it all." With these words, The Undertaker wanted to reveal the man behind the black suit, Mark Calaway. Thus began an extensive speech in which he mentioned the aspects that shaped his career, such as the day he decided to start his journey as a professional wrestler. He also acknowledged the people in the industry with whom he had a close relationship, such as Vince McMahon himself, and wrestlers Triple H and Shawn Michaels, not forgetting to mention the central figures in his life, his family, whom he thanked for always being there for him.

"In addition to the moves in the ring, I learned three moves that helped me throughout my career," Calaway said to the audience. "The first is to know that reality is undeniable. The second is to be respectful to everyone. And the third is to always aim for the highest point possible. It is thanks to these three moves that I am here tonight." After finishing his speech, and as a gesture of appreciation to the audience, the wrestler, for a brief moment, became The Undertaker once again, put on his iconic attire, and closed the night with his famous phrase: "Never say never."
