Amanda Nunes had established herself as one of the most dominant women in UFC history by easily defeating her opponents. The start of the fight against Julianna Peña was no different, as Nunes came out strong in the first round.
However, in the second round, it was the Venezuelan who attacked Nunes and managed to overcome her with several punches to the face. This caused Nunes to take refuge in the cage, but that was not enough to stop Julianna.
Peña took her down, climbed on top, and with a great submission lock, she made Nunes surrender, causing the arena in Las Vegas to explode with one of the biggest surprises in UFC history.
