John Morrison leads list of layoffs in WWE, according to Fightful Select.

No end in sight. WWE made a new wave of cuts to its roster, with notable names including John Morrison, Drake Maverick, Tegan Nox, and the rest of the members of Hit Row. This was reported by the Fightful Select portal.

Only two weeks after the last round of cuts, Vince McMahon's company has once again surprised the wrestling world with negative news. The inclusion of John Morrison's name, who returned to WWE in 2019 and has since been used only to elevate new talent, as well as teaming up again with his former partner The Miz, has generated a lot of impact.

Another figure to join the list is Drake Maverick, who recently returned to the main roster to continue his segments for the 24/7 Championship. Although he was not involved in relevant storylines or feuds, he maintained interest in the title and his appearances generated comedic moments, as well as good views on the company's YouTube channel.

Finally, the rest of the Hit Row members were also affected by this new wave of cuts. The team had recently been promoted to the main roster from NXT and was considered on SmackDown, where they did not lose a match during their short stay.
