Cain Velasquez vs. Fabricio Werdum: The Fight
The former UFC heavyweight champion, Cain Velasquez, was ridiculed when Fabricio Werdum declared in an interview with Depor that he would beat him in any condition. The Brazilian stated that just as he defeated him at high altitude, he would defeat him on level ground, and if necessary, even in a swimming pool.
Cain Velasquez is not a man dedicated to trash talk like Conor McGregor or Chael Sonnen, but he did deliver a quick jab at Fabricio Werdum ahead of UFC 196. "It's you and me in the octagon, but this is a team effort," he bluntly posted on Twitter.
Let's remember that when Cain Velasquez lost his heavyweight title to Fabricio Werdum, the fight was in favor of the Brazilian from start to finish. UFC 196 will have to be different, because Velasquez knows what it's like to win rematches (as Junior Dos Santos knows).
The highly anticipated UFC 196 will take place on February 6th, and finally these two will face off after having prepared themselves extensively. Cain Velasquez and Fabricio Werdum will speak in the octagon.
