Just a dozen days before the Royal Rumble— the event that marks the beginning of the road to WrestleMania—, the names of some participants are already known, but, as always, great surprises are expected, which gives rise to multiple rumors.
To fuel these rumors, and taking advantage of the fact that the Balor Club is the current topic among WWE Universe members, Finn Balor posted on his Twitter account an alleged confirmation that AJ Styles could participate in the event:

"What if this man enters the Royal Rumble in the first position...?
... And then this man enters the Royal Rumble in the second position?".
Although, of course, this is just to generate speculation, the reality is that this scenario would be a dream situation for any fan. Two of the best technical wrestlers that (soon) the main roster can offer, starting the iconic battle royal would be a great incentive and point of interest for the WWE Universe.
This confrontation would imply:
- The debut of Finn Balor: The NXT Champion has not yet had an official match with the main roster. And the truth is, if after hearing Lillian Garcia explain the rules of the match, the Demon's theme were to play, the reaction could be immense. On the other hand, Finn is not lacking in talent. He could be perfectly prepared to make the jump to the roster, as long as he is given the necessary push and does not follow in the footsteps of Bo Dallas, The Ascension, or the path Tyler Breeze seems to be following.
- The definitive arrival of the Bullet Club in the company: It is an open secret. It is more than a rumor. Numerous superstars, and even WWE.com, have constantly talked about the possibility of this faction being part of their ranks. The Royal Rumble could be the perfect scenario for their arrival. And what better than coinciding with Finn's arrival, the founder of the Bullet Club. The chemistry between Balor and Styles is palpable, well known by all. It would be a dream start in the fight for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Of course, this tweet serves to further increase fan anticipation; or it could even be a strategy directed by higher voices in the company to, among other objectives, gain more WWE Network subscribers, and add appeal to the Road to WrestleMania, which, in an environment plagued by injuries, may well need it.
As an added factor, let's remember that initially, Big Show would be the first participant to enter the Rumble. But the arrival, at any point in the match, of Finn Balor and AJ Styles remains equally attractive.
