Ryan Bader is not worried about the belt, he will focus on winning fights
Ryan Bader is no longer concerned about getting a shot at the belt. Now, Bader only seeks to focus on what he can control, which is winning fights. He has to be at the top of his game, as his next fight is against Anthony Johnson at UFC on FOX 18 on January 30, 2016, in Newark, New Jersey.
Bader owns the longest winning streak in the UFC light heavyweight division with five victories.
"Who knows? Every fight feels like that. Every fight is a big fight... I have stopped thinking about getting a title shot, this and that. I'm going to control what I can control and there are too many variables out there. The champion could get injured, I would have to wait a year and a half, and still nothing is guaranteed. So I keep my head down and keep doing what I have been doing in these last five fights."
