UFC Vegas 16: Hermansson vs. Vettori: day, date, time and TV channel to watch live
The UFC returns this Saturday, December 5th with UFC Vegas 16 at the APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, a card that will be headlined by Italian Marvin Vettori and American Jack Hermansson in a middleweight division bout.
Vettori enters this fight as the challenger and with the spotlight on him for his last three victories.
His opponent is none other than the fourth-ranked contender in the division and a natural finisher: 17 of his 21 wins have come before the judges' scorecards and he has won five of his last six contests.
His knockout power and ground technique make him a very versatile fighter with many options to dominate his opponents.
But the European (thirteenth in the rankings) has also shown great effectiveness in his ground game, with most of his victories coming by submission, the latest of which was six months ago against Karl Roberson in the first round, which also earned him a performance bonus.

As for the Latin Americans, Mexicans José Alberto Quiñónez and Gabriel Benítez will face Americans Louis Smolka and Justin Jaynes, respectively.
This is the first event of December, and on the penultimate weekend (December 19th), Ecuadorian Marlon "Chito" Vera will return to the octagon for a duel with Brazilian José Aldo, former featherweight champion, on the main card of UFC Vegas 17.
