In recent days, a video went viral in which American wrestler Joey Ryan fights against Danshoku Dino in a DDT event. As you know, DDT is one of the companies that use (and abuse) comedic wrestling, doing quite unusual things like bringing bizarre characters to life like Mecha Mummy or organizing controversial matches like the one Minoru Suzuki had against Sanshiro Takagi, where all weapons were allowed. Of course, Minoru didn't use anything, while Takagi used weapons including the fists of the mentioned Mecha Mummy, the entire Muscle Army faction, veteran wrestler Yoshiaki Fujiwara, and the beautiful Yuzuki Aikawa (who had the biggest impact on Minoru). Also, DDT has had champions that include a desk, a plate, a tarp, a ladder, an invisible man, various characters from children's television, a 3-year-old girl, a taxi driver, a monkey, a chef, a blow-up doll, a long list of Japanese wrestling legends (both male and female), and many other great wrestlers. And so, DDT has shown that laughter and professional wrestling can go hand in hand, parodying a thousand situations from real life.
Anyway, going back to Ryan's video, he gets surprised by a mutilating pinch in his private parts, but he manages to gather strength and concentration and with great effort, he reverses the punishment and whips Dino (literally made him leave in disgrace...). In case you haven't seen it and you're lactose tolerant, here's the video:
The comedic situation turned into a scandal for some of the old guard, like Sean Waltman, who ironically applauded it:
@JoeyRyanOnline Damn it Joey, You're making a Sport out of our Joke! 👏👍😊 https://t.co/vrp2zZuo6r

"Damn it Joey, you're taking the sport out of our joke."
Sin embargo, otros medios se lo han tomado más a la ligera, el propio consorcio deportivo ESPN lo nominó entre sus premios jocosos:
I'm Athlete Of The Year Runner-Up in the Papi Awards on @HQonESPN today. That means I won if Steve Harvey was host. pic.twitter.com/CE2c3m5ebx

"I'm Athlete Of The Year Runner-Up in the Papi Awards on @HQonESPN today. That means I won if Steve Harvey was host."
And if that wasn't enough, this viral video couldn't go unnoticed in the sinful world of pornography, as the site YouPorn offered him a contract to be the presenter and ambassador of their new site: YouPornSports.
Ryan talked about the subject and the devastating punishment now known as the YouPornPlex, in RollingStone magazine:
"The reaction has been incredible. Those 27 seconds have changed my career, without a doubt.
"I'm the ambassador for YouPorn, I have to wear shirts and caps with their logo.
"The contract with YouPorn gives me the financial stability that any independent wrestler would want."
