The Fight That Marks Mike Tyson's Return Gets Postponed
The fight against Roy Jones Jr. that marks Mike Tyson's return will no longer take place on September 12. The fight has been postponed to November 28 to give more people the opportunity to purchase tickets.
"Changing the date to November 28 will give more people the chance to witness the greatest comeback in boxing history. This temporary inconvenience will last longer than Roy Jones Jr. Better be ready, I'm coming full force," Tyson said in a statement released by Triller, the platform streaming the fight online.
54-year-old Tyson will participate in an exhibition fight with eight rounds at the Dignity Health Sports Arena in Los Angeles.
As it is known, the former heavyweight champion has been out of boxing for more than 10 years, while Jones Jr. last fought in February 2018.
