Dwanye Kerr:

He intervened very little in the match, but when he did, he responded well. He couldn't do much about the goal.

Adrian Mariappa:

He controlled 'Cebolla' Rodríguez on his side. He focused on defending and made few attacking runs.

Michael Hector:

He was strong and precise in the first half, controlling Cavanni. But in Uruguay's goal, he lost the header against José María Giménez in 'Cebolla''s goal.

Marvin Morgan:

He was Diego Rolán's personal marker. He had a good match controlling the opposing attack.

Kemar Lawrence:

He had to mark Carlos Sánchez on the left side, and he did it well. When he had the opportunity, he joined the attack and created danger down the left flank by teaming up with Dawkins.

Garath McCleary:

Very little from the QPR player from England. He dropped back a lot and contributed very little in the attack.

Rodolph Austin:

The captain ordered his team from the midfield. He was alert to mark the Uruguayans and always tried to cleanly clear the ball from the back. In the second half, he relied too much on long passes. He neglected Rodríguez's marking in Uruguay's goal.

Joel McAnuff:

He was Jamaica's most clear player. With the ball at his feet, he always took on and tried to assist Mattocks and Barnes. Without possession, he was aggressive in his marking. After Uruguay's goal, he faded away.

Simon Dawkins:

He was more focused on marking and made few attacking runs. He was substituted after Uruguay's goal for Lance Laing.

Darren Mattocks:

He was the most dangerous player in attack. He had the clearest chance after a great individual play, but he couldn't connect the shot. He was very alone in attack. He was Jamaica's best player. He was substituted for Brown with 15 minutes remaining.

Giles Barnes:

He had a personal duel with José María Giménez, but most of the time he lost the battle against the young Uruguayan. He wasn't the right partner for Mattocks. He only created one scoring chance with a header from a Laing cross.

Lance Laing:

He came on for Dawkins after Uruguay's first goal. He combined with Lawrence and together they attacked down the left flank to generate danger in the Uruguayan area. His crosses created two chances for Jamaica towards the end of the second half.

Deshorn Brown:

He came on for Mattocks. One of his headers almost resulted in Jamaica's equalizer.
