'Som Gent Normal' candidate for the presidency of FC Barcelona, Jordi Farré, announced on Tuesday that he will create a Youth Animation Stand "tailored to the Mossos d'Esquadra" to improve the atmosphere of the blaugrana stronghold and, above all, prevent the entry of violent individuals into Camp Nou.
"We will create a Youth Animation Stand tailored to the Mossos d'Esquadra with the intention of improving the stadium atmosphere on match days with strict zero tolerance towards violence," he said at a press conference.
A change in the way of cheering is one of the main arguments in Jordi Farré's social program. Not only at Camp Nou but also during away games.
"We will launch our own travel agency for members and fans with the goal of making supporting the team as affordable as possible," he said. "We will implement an ambitious loyalty program" to "reward the most active members with discounts and benefits," he added.
Jordi Farré's pre-candidacy also aims to stand by members "who are struggling due to the economic crisis". Thus, they will be offered the possibility to register in a job pool created by the club where they will "have preference under equal conditions".
Farré proposes to end ticket resale and the waiting list for season tickets. "We want to integrate intellectually and physically disabled individuals by creating specific sections within the club and open the possibility for FC Barcelona fans to instantly become members," he pointed out.
