The Oviedo has asked Atlético de Madrid for the loan of Samu Sáiz.
The Oviedo team knows that the contractual situation of the player with the rojiblanco club requires him to be loaned to another club and the Asturians have quickly made a move. Currently, they are the team that has the most chances of signing the player.
The player joined the rojiblanco subsidiary in the winter transfer market of 2014. In his last renewal with the club, he agreed that he would be part of the first team for the 2015-16 season. The club does not contemplate this option (the player has been involved in several off-field matters this season) and the loan is the solution that has been considered from the beginning.
At 25 years old, Samu has already been through the teams and youth academies of Real Madrid, Getafe, Sevilla, Almería and Atlético. Everything points to him playing in the Liga Adelante and presumably, for Oviedo, next season.
