Las Palmas claimed a penalty
In the 15th minute, Las Palmas claimed a penalty for a handball by Dorca after a header by David García from a corner kick. The players believed that he stopped a clear goal scoring opportunity, and therefore, the referee should have awarded a penalty.
The referee's decision
The referee, Ocón Arráiz from La Rioja, considered that the handball was unintentional. Although the ball hit the midfielder's elbow, it didn't appear to be deliberate.
Zaragoza's penalty claim
Seven minutes later, Zaragoza claimed another penalty for a foul on William José. However, the referee believed that the forward stumbled after multiple dribbles and that's why he fell just as he was about to confront the goalkeeper.
