Known for his maneuvers in the ring, flying kicks, unique charisma, and a grand entrance, John Morrison earned a name for himself not only in WWE, but in the rest of the world. And after eight years of absence, he would return to Vince McMahon's company.
According to a report by journalist Mike Johnson from PWInsider, John Hennigan, his real name, has signed a contract with WWE. However, the date of his return to the ring, where he was born as a wrestler in 2002, is unknown.
Morrison was in WWE until 2011, as neither he nor the company decided to renew. After that, he fought in independent circuits, Triple A in Mexico, and Impact Wrestling, under the name Johnny Mundo.
Thus, at 39 years old, John Morrison would have his second stint in WWE. During his first stay, he won the third season of the reality show Tough Enough, obtained the Intercontinental title, the ECW title, and several tag team championships with Joe Mercury and The Miz.
