The co-main event of Clash of Champions 2019 was led by Roman Reigns and Rowan. It was an intense match, but the 'Big Dog' couldn't secure the victory as Daniel Bryan's former partner received help from an old friend.
That friend is Luke Harper, who appeared to prevent Roman Reigns from hitting Rowan with a spear. Since the match was no disqualification, anything was allowed. Both of them attacked Roman and eventually Rowan applied his claw to his skull, winning the match. The Harper and Rowan duo is back.

The third edition of Clash of Champions, which returns to WWE programming after not being held last year, takes place at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina and is an event where all the titles will be on the line.
This show began with two matches in the Kick-Off. In the first one, Drew Gulak defeated Humberto Carrillo and Lince Dorado, retaining the cruiserweight division title; while in the second one, AJ Styles also retained the United States title after defeating Cedric Alexander.
