For three rounds, the 'Stockton's Son' showed strength on the ground and powerful hands. And the judges gave him the victory by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28).
"This is Nate Diaz, I came back because everyone 'sucks'. Now, I've seen that Jorge Masvidal has had good fights lately," he said, implying an interest in facing 'Gamebread', who knocked out Ben Askren in five seconds.
