AtSummerSlam 2019, Ricochet gave it all he had but unfortunately, he couldn't take the United States title from AJ Styles. In part, because the 'phenomenal' received help from his friends in The OC (The Original Club), Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.
Ricochet defended himself well; he was even close to victory. But in the final minutes, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson interfered and distracted him. This was taken advantage of by the US champion AJ Styles.
From the corner of the ring, Ricochet got rid of Gallows and Anderson. Then, he climbed to the top rope and leaped towards AJ. AJ intercepted him in mid-air and then executed his 'Styles Clash'. Three count and victory for the champion.

The biggest event of the summer - the second biggest of WWE after WrestleMania - will offer all fans a very interesting card of 10 fights, with six of them being title matches.
