Daniela Macías and Danica Nishimura continue to achieve success abroad. This time they did it at the Benin International 2019, where they won the gold medal in the women's doubles category. In addition, Macías was able to take home the silver medal in singles.

The 'Danis' defeated Nigerian players Tosin Atalagbe and Amin Christoher by 2-0 (21-5, 21-4) in the quarterfinals.
